Anthony L. Morrow, Sr. was born in Greenville South Carolina to the late Louis Morrow, Jr. and Mildred (Segers) Morrow. He moved to New Jersey at a young age and attended the Vineland Public School System. He married his sweetheart and companion of several years Christene Rountree in December of 1987. Anthony and Christene Morrow were blessed with two children Marcella Morrow and Anthony L. Morrow, Jr. Daughter-in-law Ivory Morrow and three grandchildren. .

Anthony Morrow, Sr. received vocational training in electrical and industrial boilers. He has been employed by the Vineland Electric Utility since 1983, starting as a Laborer, he progressed to the highest operational position of Control Room Operator. He currently holds a second class Steam Stationary Engineers License and is the first person to achieve the Certification of PJM System Operator at the Vineland Electric Utility. PJM is the nation’s largest power grid. .

Anthony Morrow Sr. has served in many positions of non-profit organizations. He was the Senior Vice President and the Chairman of the Board for the King Academy for Youth. During his tenure with the organization, they provided summer feeding programs for children during the summer months, as well as recreational and educational programs. He was the Director of the youth Basketball League, as well as the liaison for a major food company that distributed food to the needy and elderly. Based on his community service, He was named one of the Outstanding Young Men of America in 1987. .

In 1987 Anthony was saved and life would never be the same. Under the direction of the late Pastor Lee R. Gardner he served as a trustee. Under the direction of the late Pastor David C. Bell he was ordained as a Deacon in 1993. He has served as an adult Sunday school teacher, Bible study teacher, treasurer, head of church compliance, and Chairman of the Deacon Ministry. After 20 years of service to one Ministry, Anthony was given the opportunity to be part of a team to plant a new church. He served as Deacon Chairman and Church Business Manger during this exciting process. .

In 2010 Anthony Morrow became a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church where he felt he could further his Christian Education under the teachings of Senior Pastor, Rev Dr. James A. Dunkins. After great consideration he surrendered to the call that GOD had placed in his life. In 2013 he entered into the Minister Training Program. He completed Bethany Baptist School of Essenitial Knowledge and was license as a Minster in November 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Minister Morrow graduated from Betany Baptist Ordination School September 2021 and was Ordained Feburay 2022. In June 2022 He was installed as the Pator of Membership for the Shiloh Baptist Church. Anthony and his wife Christene have received many awards for their work in ministry and the community. Along with his wife Christene they continue to work wherever they are needed to help build the Kingdom of God. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 (I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me).
